Steam Powered Sawmill
I honestly don`t remember how long ago I built this, probably for a terrain build over on The Guild
Anyway it wasn`t very robust and certainly not designed for a journey in the hold of a Ryanair flight out to Spain, so got pretty bashed up!! I`ve spent a week repairing and messing about, added another building and then re-painted and flocked. As you will note I`m outside again today temperature in the high teens, maybe hotter in the sun.
All the huts/buildings are Willis Modelcraft train bits, the saw and steam engines are Frontline Wargaming, everything else is just found scatter.
As with everything I do, I`ve tried to make this with flexible use in mind
A Stug and some grenadiers (in a Russian summer maybe)
Some of Pancho Villa`s banditos
The Riffi attack a Spanish outpost
Richard, lovely rebuild of your saw mill. Versatile piece. Enjoy.

Thanks Carl, it took a bit of a hammering coming out to Spain, but looks much better now.
DeleteVery nice Richard- I remember you building it at the time.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Pete.
Thanks Pete, yes the original idea was finished ages back, but I think it looks better now - my techniques have improved a little :)
