Stable

Stable

The final part of the Airfix La Haye Sante

This time I decided to leave the building whole and simply added internal walls and stalls and a loft area all using bits I`d cut off or left out when deconstructing the other buildings.

Nothing fancy or good about the paint job, figures (by Underfire Minatures) just for scale

I removed the chicken coup off the courtyard wall and added it to this building

my attempts at internal details

Forward supply markers

Supply Markers

I continue doing things I find in the various boxes and drawers.

Two large tents from Frontline Wargaming combined with piles of fuel drums and stacks of ammo crates (Frontline and S&S)

Based on old CDs with plaster and flock, I`ve added the foliage and my patented stocking/camouflage netting

John Frost`s Arnhem HQ

Ruined Building

John  Frost`s Arnhem HQ ruin by Raventhorpe
I`ve based it and added some more rubble from Anyscale Models and painted it (poorly)

Chain link fencing

Chain link fencing

I found bits of this fiberglass/plastic mesh that they use for plastering out in the street.

It occurred that if I cut it into lengths and mounted it using bits of match-stick and plastic as posts and painted it up it would make fair farm chain-link fencing. Here is the result - about 1.4 metres of it :) Figures for scale

Another Airfix building

Another Airfix Building

Another part of the La Haye Sante set
Chopped up and damaged, I added joists and an partial upper floor, plus using a piece of the cut off wall I added a partial internal wall too. I then based the structure and added the rubble and scatter.

The roof section is removable
So is the upper floor

As I was digging through boxes looking for bits for this build I came across this railway buffer from Captain Jack`s Locker (a 2-part resin model), so I quickly painted it up and added some scatter to the base.
