More 20mm trucks

A couple more 20mm trucks

Classic Airfix Opel Blitz
 Straight out of the box

Between the wars GS truck
This started out as a Hasawaga Toyota aircraft starter truck
A bit of fiddling allowed me to fit a Shellhole Scenics truck bed onto the chassis creating a passable between the wars GS truck

Tufts & grass, etc

Tufts & grass, etc

I`m not very good at terrain and usually can`t be arsed to mess around basing figures beyond a basic flock style

But I do sometimes experiment and find 28mm stuff needs more effort than 20mm. Anyway, I ran out of tufts and our local model shop was closed for a holiday and I don`t do GW (fuck em)

So I went to Ebay and discovered this company - https://www.warpainter.net/

Bought this set of arid tufts for £4.90 inc postage - pretty good IMHO

Juramentados

Juramentados
(Men sworn to die in battle)

Just about the only wargames set-up I have NOT 20mm is a 28mm skirmish one for my pet project - Rif War 1919-26, some yrs back I bought a large batch of figures (thanks to Bannockburn Boy over on the SOTCW forum) which a sculpter from Scotland produced just for himself and have never been released to the public.

I`ve converted these, pruning away guns, swapping arms or hands (and a head) and added various scimitars (thanks Ian)

Crusaders for Tunisia

Crusaders for Tunisia

The first time I`ve sat down to paint since late June.
I`ve just lost my drive, I have no plans, in fact I`ve just been plodding for most of the last 18 months, anyway, over on The Wargamer`s Forum, they do regular "builds", the lastest on is "Blades" and whilst i don`t often do guys with swords, etc I thought of an entry slightly outside the box

Crusader IIIs of 17th/21st Lancers "Blade Force" Tunisia, December 1942
