Railway modelling terrain

I an hour off yesterday and poped into a railway modellers display/show thing at the local Waterfront Museum. As always I was blown away by the terrain -

  1. The terrain is very nice, but bear in mind that they don't need to worry about moving figures & vehicles around on it. I think that makes quite a difference - it's easier to make very nice terrain for a more-or-less static display.

  2. Totally agree Russ, but stunning effects all the same.

    1. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's not stunning, or that it shouldn't be admired. Just don't get downhearted that your wargame table doesn't look that good :)

  3. God Russ!

If I got down-hearted every-time I saw stuff far better than mine - i`d slit my wrists or cut my broadband connection - virtually everyone seems to paint/model better than me :-)
