Desert Free French

I`ve recently really got into modelling, far beyond where I would have tried even just a few years back. This led to me building a whole batch of weird and wonderful Free French field conversions and portee artillery.

Bren Carrier with Hotchkiss 25mm AT gun
Modified Airfix carrier with SHQ gun and crew plus added stowage

La Revenge - a Pak38 mounted on a CMP chasis
Used by the Free French around El Alemain
Kit-bashed using a chasis and cab from S&S, gun from SHQ, added stowage and scratch-built racking,
Crew from SHQ and AB Figures

Dodge Tanake
Improvised armoured trucks built by the French in Syria/Lebanon, saw service against the Allies duirn Operation Exporter 1941, some surviving vehicles were aquired by the Free French and later used against the Germans and Italians.
models L-R  - Pascal Mahe and Raventhorpe (mixed crewss and stowage)

2pdr portee
The Free French did a number of these field conversion SP anti-tank vehicles.
Chevy CC60L (from David Reasoner`s Moonlite Modelwerks), gun from Under the Bed, mixed crew & stowage

    1. Hello Richard

      Why ?

I did not do it on this blog for trade?

All my master figures are sold to collectors ...

All my unpainted figures or models of vehicle or guns are sold to players ...

All my molds are sold to Sgts Mess, for those who are interested with these figures ...

And all my painted figures are sold to Hinds Fig Ltd...

With this adventure, all is financial benefits for me , but it is exhausting anyway ...

What interested me most, was whether I could make valuable figurines, models ect ...

Now all I have made is collector !!!

      Best regards and Thank you

      Pascal
