Held over the weekend 6-7th July, right opposite the guesthouse over stunning Swansea Bay

New for this year and quite a surprise when I opened up for breakfast were a pair of full size replica aircraft standing less than 100ft from our front door - a Hurricane and a Spitfire

Battle of Britain Flight 

Warbirds

A pair of Spitfires and 2 Hispano-Suiza Me109G with Merlin engines (used in the Battle of  Britain movie 1969). 

These simulated dogfights across the sky, on the Sunday, there was a soundtrack of machine gun fire.

Every now and again I see something and think I`d like to give that a go. 

Now I don`t have the skills or control for the detailed painting required for 28mm, but this what I`ve done this week -

 I`ve tried to paint her as the Asian assassin - Mai Lei

Finally a female wasteland ganger by Bad Roll Games, I`ve called her "Tasha"

I want to be able to fight some of the 8th Army actions to the south of Tunisia, to support the Brits i needed some Shermans

These are Britannia with some added stowage to vary the look
