2024 year review

2024 year review

Well having spent 180 days working back in Wales throughout the year - all of February, half of June, then all of July & August plus most of September; followed by half or October, all of November and the first two weeks in December. As you can expect this has seriously curtailed my hobby for this year 😖

Totally unavoidable, but I am somewhat disappointed.

Years Totals

28mm Rif War - 16 foot + a mule

20mm foot - 69 + 7 mules

20mm mounted - 4

20mm vehicles - 4

20mm guns - a 81mm mortar & a 75mm pack howitzer

I did manage six games:

Collecchio Italy April 1945 (2 games)

  3. Very nice and unusual games played. But you should not let work interfere with your hobby :)

    1. No options, when we`re working, there just isn`t time for hobby stuff.

  4. I’m relatively new to this retirement lark, but there just seems so much stuff that needs to be done… If only I knew when the “doing nothing all day” starts 😉
Fingers crossed that ‘25 is a better year all round.
    Cheers,
    Geoff

    1. Ha, ha, ha - yep know what you mean. I fully accept we withsrew from work early (I was coming up to 56). But didn`t expect to have to jump back in with both feet. Lots still to do in the new year, then hopefully back to Spain again for good - fingers crossed.
