2024 year review
Well having spent 180 days working back in Wales throughout the year - all of February, half of June, then all of July & August plus most of September; followed by half or October, all of November and the first two weeks in December. As you can expect this has seriously curtailed my hobby for this year 😖
Totally unavoidable, but I am somewhat disappointed.
Years Totals
28mm Rif War - 16 foot + a mule
20mm foot - 69 + 7 mules
20mm mounted - 4
20mm vehicles - 4
20mm guns - a 81mm mortar & a 75mm pack howitzer
I did manage six games:

2025 Richard, this will be your miniatures and gaming year! Best, Bill
ReplyDeleteCheers Bill, we return to Wales mid-January, hopefully by the end of February everything will be finished and we can return to Spain and get on with retirement :)
DeleteStill better than me Richard..hope the New Year is a more settled year for you and your troops all round Cheers John BB
ReplyDeleteLots of stuff to still to do, but hopefully by the end of February we should be sorted - cheers mate :)
DeleteVery nice and unusual games played. But you should not let work interfere with your hobby :)
ReplyDeleteNo options, when we`re working, there just isn`t time for hobby stuff.
DeleteI’m relatively new to this retirement lark, but there just seems so much stuff that needs to be done… If only I knew when the “doing nothing all day” starts 😉
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed that ‘25 is a better year all round.
Cheers,
Geoff
Ha, ha, ha - yep know what you mean. I fully accept we withsrew from work early (I was coming up to 56). But didn`t expect to have to jump back in with both feet. Lots still to do in the new year, then hopefully back to Spain again for good - fingers crossed.
