Carlist Support Weapons
When I finished painting all those Requetes last month, it became obvious my bandera (a battalion sized unit) was terribly short of support weapons.
Now choices for suitable figures for SCW are extremely limited these days with Bandera not accepting orders, Irregular Miniatures retiring and Minairons ceasing trading! So we are left with one 20mm manufacturer - Xan Miniatures!
Now i have no idea if Xan has any plans to expand his range, but a quick email (which had an very fast reply), he was kind enough to allow me to order some Carlist beret heads along with my next order, which I placed through the website:

The figures and heads arrived promptly, I then spend a fun few hours swapping heads and adding tassels with plasterscene 😁 I then slapped on some paint and this is the result:

DeleteLovely work Richard. I saw an ad today for Xan Miniatures SCW figures which probably led me here, as I thought "Richard would like these." And "How is Mr Baber doing!?" They look good figures but as you note above it's been a time of loss of manufacturers in 20mm and SCW ranges. Carl N. Yorks
