Bersaglieri

Bersaglieri

I have a couple of scenarios in planning stages set in Italy and for these I will need Bersaglieri, not a unit that I have ever built before.

I went down the simplest route and ordered everything Andy Grubb had on his website.

For a command group I used his Italian Paratroopers KH-ITA01 I`ve given a couple Cockerel feathers on their headgear with Plasterscene

20mm Breda & crew

Infantry

Note a couple of the figures wear tent segment zeltbahn

Lancia Model 35 Flame-thrower

Note the guy in the middle did have a Model-41 d`assalto flame-thrower, but I carved this away and replaced it with a panzerfaust

This last group were more paratroopers given to me years ago, but have sat unloved in a drawer until now, a bit of pruning and added cockerel feathers turns paratroopers into Bersaglieri 😂

So we have 35 figures plus the 20mm Breda

Breda plus command

9-figure assault platoon with flamethrower

2 x 10-figure infantry platoons

1st platoon

2nd platoon
