Airfix gun Emplacment
Now I had none of the bunkers or the gun, so had to build some.
I built a sandbagged entrance to the ammunition bunker
I had to build the other two bunkers
The smaller bunker was just given a roof
I built the larger Hex bunker out of cardboard (a bit scruffy i admit)
A few photos with infantry and a manned `88
It isa classic piece- my main gaming opponents ha one we still use.

Ironically I kept the turret and gun, plus both emplacements, but not the base (think it got broken in storage at my parents old house many years ago). I actually found the various parts earlier today whilst sorting out my boxes of terrain

DeleteWhat a fine job you have done in rejuvenating this brilliant old piece of toy/model terrain. I think you clearly demonstrate the different between the two. Unpainted = toy, painted and 'pimped' = model!
