Reinforcements for Spain

We will be expanding our SCW set-up in Spain as we go. The Nationalists struggled to gain any headway in their offensive during Christmas, they needed help. I was lucky enough to get a pile of bi-planes and bits off a fellow wargamer last year, so build one per side to add an aerial dimension to our games.

Both models are Airfix kits (I think) quite old, the decals were mostly wasted, I had to hand paint some and touch-up others.

Gloster Gladiator

Painted in Republic Airforce colours - I know the Spanish never had these, but in my wargames, I use what I have and take all sorts of liberties :)

Both together, the flight stands as from S&S Models (highly recommended)
