  1. 👏👏 I need to get some of these miniatures. Unfortunately there are an awful lot of projects I’d also like to do. ☹️
    Cheers,

    1. I remain stubornly focussed and refuse to get drawn into new periods :) I`ve nearly finished Ashmead-Bartletts - Siege of Port Arthur and have just ordered "Campaign of Liao-Yang 1904" By H Rowan-Robinson to complete the picture (I`ve read quite a bit on Tsushima, but not much on the land campaign. But I am not going to wargame the period :)

  2. Russo-Japanese War eh? Here's hope you'll build the land forces in 1/72 so I can steal some ideas. :) Regards, Pat

    1. I have some Japanese infantry (painted up for the Siege of Peking, so wrong uniforms) by Combat Miniatures - nice figures https://baberonwargames.blogspot.com/2017/08/inventory-boxer-rebellion-japanese.html
Getting Russians of WW1 vintage with Budenovka pointy hat shouldn`t be too hard??

  3. Lovely figures Richard, but I will be sticking to 20mm. If you are looking for 20mm Chinese & Japanese figures, have a look at Jacklex Miniatures' Russo-Japanese & Sino-Japanese figures. See
    https://www.jacklexminiatures.com/russo-japanese-war
They also do some lovely Mexican figures for mid 19th century and (as you know) the USA intervention in Mexico.

    1. Thanks Carl, I`m pretty happy how these 28mm turned out. I haven`t looked at Jacklex Russo-Japanese War range, I don`t think they`ll stand beside the smaller Combat Miniatures guys?? I have the complete range of Mexican Revolution figures, some featured on both sides in my last game.
