Nice. 👏👏 In the last picture the figure with a blue waistcoat (“vest” as our American cousins might call it) has what appears to be a “tin star” on his breast. Next time you have a paintbrush with silver on the tip you might just want to give his Sheriff’s badge a quick dab of paint. Not a criticism. Are you painting all these civilians for a specific project? Or just for general background clutter in games? Cheers, Geoff Ps/ of course, the civilians may not be just “background clutter” but might need protecting, or rescuing or, if you’re a baddie, potential hostages 😉
I never saw the badge, I`ll have to get him back onto the painting tray and fix that :) I have 2 games already written which need civilians (or at least non-military combatants). One is a Mexican raid into the US, the other is a battle in a Mexican town on the US/Mexican border. I`m also considering an Yaqui/Apache raid into the US followed by a retaliatory raid against the Indians by either US or Mexican forces.
I have one of the old Asgard Wild West gunfighter figures - the portly Mexican bandit, in sombrero and waving 2 pistols in the air. This figure remind me so, so, so much of the cartoon character Figaro from the Topper comic.
Nice. 👏👏

ReplyDeleteNow that does take me back, I remember buyer Asgard moulds and making orcs for D&D games back in the late 1970s :)
